I can't get it to stop leaking. When I bought it, there was a broken pipe between the manifold and pressure switch. I sent that back and it was fixed. Now, the pressure release valve between the pressure switch and manifold is leaking. I put plumbers tape on the threads but that didn't help. I put some pipe dope on the threads and will let that set for a day or so to see if that does the trick. I haven't been able to use it yet so don't have an opinion on that yet.

When received, I opened the vent valve and rusty water emerged (it had built up a small amount of pressure during transport, which is to be expected). My advice is to be sure and drain the unit, then build up some pressure and keep venting until the discoloration is gone. I had to do this a couple of times. Other than that, I used the compressor with my Hitachi staple gun for installation of T-111 plywood under the eves over my porch; both worked great and I will continue to purchase Hitachi refurbished units from BigSky, a great company doing excellent work in refurbishing units that end up looking and functioning like new.
