Great drill motor, my third of the same model. I dropped one in the lake, recovered it and let it dry out, still working today. Lithium-ion baterries are great, light weight, fast charge, long life, head and shoulders better than NICAD. Excellent service, I have recommeded to several friends. I have multiples so that I am never without a drill motor.

I like the product but it would be nice if you checked the batteries that are shipped with the item. One of the batteries I received was dead on arrival.

Own a few hitachi products range from leaf blower, weed eater, to tools (cir. saw, drill), overall very please with the products. The same experience with this drill, it looks like new and works like one, so far. The Lithium Iron battery performs exactly as described (fast charge, last long and steady power through out).

Great product for the price. Unit works as advertised and I really don't care if the unit looks a but dinged up. It works great. The bulb in the light accessory didn't last more than 2 minutes however. Cost me $9.00 for two replacements.

when i received the drill the charger did not function. thx, for replacing it with a good one. I will probably buy refurbished in the future thankyou for a good and fair deal.

the item I purchased arived in a very timly manner and was in excellent condition. However, one of the two batteries were faulty and would not charge.
I called CS and they, without question or hassel, sent a new replacement the same day. To me that diserves 4 stars. I would say 5, but the bum battery right out of the box was a disapointment. Thanks for asken. Jim
