wow have other hatachi tools but this drill outperforms my dewalt xpr 18 volt and has longer battery life i recomend this for anyone who needs raw power also the chuch is better than what dewald is using on they newer xprs

A good product in general, but the received reconditioned drill has a chuck wobble with small drill bits. Will be returning it - it's easy to see how this was missed in reconditioning - be sure to check on receipt.

Best drill I've ever owned...good high speed for drilling and plenty of power for 3 1/2 inch screws. Lithium batteries last a good long time. Have to get used to the drill not fading in power, just shutting down when battery reaches a specified voltage. Work light comes in handy when working in cabinets or other dark areas.

when i first used this drill, it was great. Tons of power, light weight and manageable size. 1 month into use, it fell off the work bench (3ft) and a little piece of plastic broke off where the battery clips in. now the battery wont stay locked into the drill. 1 month later i was drilling a 3/4 inch hole with a paddle bit. the bit caught a nail and snap...the case broke in half right where the trigger is. now its a boat anchor. might be a good drill for driving screws close to the ground, but if your looking for a tough drill, look else where

Strong running product. I own 2 now and the first one was dropped shortly after it's purchase and busted the clips on the battery retainer clips. This was very disappointing, but to be expected I suppose from plastic parts. I'd hoped the company would repalce the housing, but did not.

great screw gun lots of torque. If the light ran off the 18 volt battery instead of it's own battery I would of gave it 5 stars...

Great price. Initial impression was that it has good power. It bogged down and the chuck came out while drilling in a 4"x4". I was only applying moderate pressure, so not sure if that was a safety mechanism. Chuck went back in fine. Motor sounds a little more "loose" after that. Batteries seem to have a good life.
