Works well for nail guns, it is only 4 cfm, Mine was grade c and looked fine it may have gotten a new paint job as it was a light green with no metallic paint. It won't win any beauty contests but I just need it to drive my nail guns. So far no problem right out of the box.
It came with oil and quick connects to hook it right up, I bought a 25" hose to use in the shop. I'll need a longer hose if I do any roofing or framing.
IF you want to run any kind of a sander or grinder it doesn't have the CFM for that you need a bigger compressor.

Great compressor. Works well and looks great, just like new.The price can't be beat for a unit that does the same with the same capacity. I have used oil-less compressors but they fail sooner or later. oil-less compressors overheat often. But with this type of oil filled compressor I never have those problems. They go and go and go and never have any issues.

I ordered this Compressor in "Grade C" and while it was visibly used, it was in great condition, and functions perfectly. One minor issue was one of the bleeder valves was damaged in shipping, but Big Sky was willing to do whatever was necessary to make it right. In my case I had no problem swapping out the part myself, and it arrived like two days later expedited Fed ex. As always with Big Sky, the service is Impressive.
Now the Hitachi Compressor itself, it's reasonably quiet, fills quickly, and is of good quality. The castings are noticably higher quality than most small compressors. The water bleeder valves I mentioned before aren't those cheap little knurled nuts either, they're actual valves. So far, I couldn't be more pleased with it. Definitely keeps up with my framing gun, by a good margin.

Arrived on time. This is a "workhorse" with excellent quick pressure-up respose. This is a "wet" compressor (oil bath). If you want a compressor that keeps on running long after a dry based unit this is the route to go....you can't go wrong.

It works great. Except for the two small scuff marks on the tank you would never know it was not brand new. It has no trouble keeping up with finish nailers and medium to light duty use of framing nailers. Fills up in about 2 minutes from complete empty. Refill with no tool use while refilling is around 1 minute. The machine is quieter than expected. I can have a conversation over the machine in the same room without shouting. Shipping was quick. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Realized after the 15 day return period that it doesn't work-
it runs ok until the unit needs to restart, then it quits and you have to press the reset button!

I have not yet opened the box containing the compressor, waiting for the shop to be built before I do. That said, I've bought other tools from Big Sky and am completely satisfied with every purchase, that's why I came back for the >$400 reman compressor for only $109. I expect no problems with the machine.
