The sander appeared to be in new condition. I used it to sand a picnic table and it worked very well. It did get pretty hot, so i gave it a couple of breaks to cool a bit. I did also have to adjust the belt tracking knob several times, and this was very easy but it was several times. I attribute all the adjustments to being a first time user of this type of sander.
I am happy with the purchase and i would recommend. Another great buy from Big Sky!

I've been using this sander for a few weeks now on home projects. It replaced my worn out 1970's, one speed sander. I appreciate how much quieter this unit is and the excellent job it does. Not paying much attention to the dust bag, but I have noticed a lot less visible dust than my old unit put out; it had no bag. AND, this reconditioned unit looks and functions like new. I continue to recommend and purchase from BigSky Tool and am more than happy with them.
