It's a workhorse. I've used it so far only for demolition, but it hasn't failed to break up cement 2 to 4 inches thick. I use it in bursts of about 30 minutes. It heats a bit, so I rest it. Good carrying case and manual. Recommended.

Very impressed with the reconditioned Hitachi tools I've ordered in the past- they are as good as new. The Makita drill was in a MUCH rougher condition (warn off rubber coatings, grit in the mechanism, etc). Looks like a flea market tool at the end of its life- the drill works, but it worries me. I would not recommend this product.
